Cookie Policy
How Zamit uses cookies and similar technologies, and the control you have over them.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. What we use
Cookies and similar technologies such as local storage let the site work, remember your choices and help us understand how it is used. We group them as follows.
- Strictly necessary — sign-in and session cookies, security and anti-abuse tokens, load balancing, and storage of your assessment progress. These cannot be switched off, and under UK PECR they do not require consent.
- Preferences — remembering language, display settings and your cookie choices.
- Analytics — aggregated measurement of page views and feature use so we can improve the product. Set only with your consent.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run behavioural or targeted advertising to children.
2. Consent and your choices
Where consent is required, non-essential cookies are set only after you agree, and you can withdraw consent at any time — the withdrawal is as easy as giving it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and may interrupt an assessment in progress.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by providers acting for us, such as hosting, security and analytics services. They may only use the data to provide their service to Zamit. Embedded content from other sites, such as a video player, may set its own cookies governed by that provider's policy.
4. Retention and contact
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last no longer than 12 months, after which you are asked again. For questions about this policy or to change your choices, contact hello@zamit.one. Our Privacy Policy explains your wider data protection rights.
