The orphanage (Yateemkhana Ahle Sunnat) was founded by Alhaj Saiyed Ahemadsha Bukhari, a religious revolutionary, in Kutch, on 22 Zilqa’d Hijri 1399 i.e. 14/10/1979. It is registered under Gujarat State waqf act 1996 and registered number being 1117. Through attempts of Alhaj Saiyed Ahemadsha Bukhari, this institution has been rendering proper foster care and education in orphans accordance with Islamic law and culture for the last 37 years. YAS aims to bring sunshine into the lives of orphan and betrayed child by providing students an excellent academic education and fulfill primary necessity of life.We do this through well-planned and comprehensive programs in education, livelihood and other activities. This has been made possible only through the support of like-minded people & donors .
