Kendriya Vidyalaya Hindi : केन्द्रीय विद्यालय is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into being in 1962 under the name "Central Schools" and has been affiliated with CBSE since then. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya. Kendriya Vidyalaya ECR Samastipur was founded in 1981. One of the leading units of KVs is now one of the well reputed Vidyalaya. It is situated in the lush sprawling campus of ECR Railway Colony. The Vidyalaya is amidst greenery and scenic beauty. This full bloomed Vidyalaya imparts quality education from class I to XII.
