Kamayani has mainly worked for securing a place of dignity in society for mentally challenged persons by providing education and vocational training. In the years to come Kamayani would work to include physically challenged persons in its ambit and strive to bring about integration of both mentally and physically challenged persons in society. Kamayani has grown to be a Centre of Education for the rehabilitation of mentally challenged persons starting from Child Guidance to Adult Day Care. Through teacher training and research it has tried to widen the reach and improve the quality of training provided to the mentally challenged persons. Our vision is to become a Centre of Excellence by carrying out education, vocational training, sheltered employment and research activities.
