Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, South Goa is a vibrant institution synonymous with quality education. The challenging mix of student community drawn from all categories -rural, urban, SC, ST-of the society, distinguished faculty and modern infrastructure has helped it to make strides in excellence that are benchmarks. Ever since it was carved out as a separate institution from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, in 1986, it has been making its niche in education in Goa. Started with 54 students in the first batch, the Vidyalaya has grown up to educate around 400 students under the indigenous order of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, following the norms and policies enshrined by the H.R.D Ministry of the Govt. of India.
