Description
The year 1986 was the most auspicious year when the foundation of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Barusagar, Jhansi laid down. It is situated on N.H. 39, 25 km far from Jhansi. Jhansi city, between the rivers Pahunj and Betwa is a symbol of bravery, courage and self respect. It is said that in ancient times Jhansi was a part of the regions Chedi Rashtra, Jejak Bhukit, Jajhoti and Bundelkhand. Jhansi is historically well known because of Manikarnika (Jhansi ki Rani). Her deeds of courage and valour and fight against British people will always be remembered.
