CSI St.Hilda’s & St.Hugh’s Mat. Hr. Sec. School previously known as CSI Alison Cassie Nursery School was functioning in Chengalpattu High Road along with the CSI Alison Cassie Hr. Sec. School. We had 141 students with few teachers up to STD VI. In 1997, during the period of Rt. Rev. M. Azariah, Bishop of Madras, the Nursery School was upgraded as Matriculation School and this school was moved to the Shah Bungalow in CSM Compound. Chengalpattu. In a struggling competitive educational environment, by the grace of the Almighty Jesus Christ, the biggest miracle happened through our former Bishop Rt.Rev.Dr. V.Devasahayam. We, the least of all the Matriculation Schools in the CSI Diocese of Madras, received a companionship with St.Hilda’s & St.Hugh’s School, New York.
