Description
Dr. Lion C.Devendran, who hails from a poor family and had a meteoric rise in society through hard work and dedication. Due to the hardships he faced in his childhood, his aim in life is to provide good and quality education for a nominal fee for children of all classes of society. In the year 2000 along with a group of eminent educationalist under Sri Venkateshwara Educational Trust, Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established and has been recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu.
