Andrews is a co-educational school run by Andrews Educational Trust. It is named after John Nevin Andrews, a great intellectual, missionary, writer, editor, and scholar whose life had greatly inspired the founders of this institution. Back in 1983, Vickramasingapuram was a small town with a very low literacy rate. Despite the fact that there were a sizable number of schools functioning in the heart of the town, the founders of Andrews decided to start a new school with English as the medium of instruction, the first of its kind in the entire town. The vision of Andrews is to give a quality education that can harmoniously develop the mental physical and spiritual faculties of a child. Its motive is to provide students fr-+.-om villages, a rigorous academic standard par excellence.
